Cookies are the part of the Subway menu nobody plans and everybody buys. They are baked in store through the day, which is why a Subway cookie at 12:30pm is a completely different product from the same cookie at 8:45pm. Here is the full lineup, what each one costs, and how to time your visit so you get them warm.

The cookie lineup

FlavourCaloriesOur take
Chocolate Chip~200 calThe benchmark. Best eaten within an hour of baking.
Double Chocolate Chip~210 calFudgier and darker; the pick for serious chocolate eaters.
White Chip Macadamia Nut~220 calRichest of the lineup and the most divisive.
Oatmeal Raisin~200 calChewiest texture, least sweet. Underrated.
Raspberry Cheesecake~200 calRotates in and out; grab it when you see it.
Peanut Butter~210 calAvailability varies by store and region.

Individual cookies typically run $0.99 to $1.29, but almost every store prices a 3-pack at less than three singles — so if you were buying two, buy three.

The Sidekicks range — the Footlong Cookie, Cinnabon churro and Auntie Anne's pretzel — was built for sharing and for add-on impulse buys at the till. All three are foot-long by design, so treat the calorie numbers as two or three servings unless you are genuinely committed.

How to get them warm

  1. Ask "are any cookies fresh out of the oven?" Staff usually know exactly what came out when, and will happily point you to the good tray.
  2. Aim for mid-morning (around 10–11am) or late afternoon (3–5pm), the two windows when baking catches up with demand. See our hours guide for the quiet periods.
  3. If they are cold and you are taking them home, 8–10 seconds in a microwave brings a Subway cookie most of the way back.

The calorie reality

Two cookies add roughly 400 calories to your order — about the same as upgrading a 6-inch turkey sub to a Footlong steak and cheese. If dessert is non-negotiable, the cheapest way to make room is to build a leaner sub rather than to skip the cookie; our nutrition guide has sample builds under 400 and 500 calories that leave headroom for one.

Buying for a group

A boxed dozen is nearly always cheaper per cookie than singles, and cookie platters (around 30 cookies) are the cheapest dessert-per-head option Subway sells — details in our catering guide. Order the box an hour ahead at a busy store so they can bake to your pickup time rather than handing you whatever is left.
